TECHNOLOGY: Where

The design of the components (and their relation to each other) were specifically scaled to allow for the incremental placement of multiple HyPEGs in-line just off-shore and around existing, on-shore coal-fired power plants.

Each HyPEG placed in the river takes advantage of the existing on-shore electrical power grid sub-station to deliver usable electrical energy to the grid. HyPEGs do not require any additional improvements to the grid.

HyPEGs are designed to work in off-shore and/or in tidal current as well. Directional changes and shifts in currents do not affect their operation.
